Board of Commissioner's Meeting Agendas and Summaries

The Inman Community Fire Department Board of Commissioner's meet on the first Wednesday of every month in order to discuss information regarding the fire department. The meetings are public and the public is able to be present for the meeting (see Events for dates and information prior to the meeting). February 2022

Minutes from February 2022 Meeting

Opening: After eating, the regular meeting of ICVFD was called to order at 6:30 PM by Commissioner Steve Ford.
Attendance: Commissioners Randy Babb, Steve Ford, Chuck Adams, Elton Chapman, and Jimmy riley were present. Also attending were Chief Kincaid, Asst. Chief McCraw, Lt. Garrett, Firefighters Riley, Peeler and Swayngham. Office manager Patti Babb was also present taking minutes.
Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Chapman made a motion to accept the minutes for the month of January 2022. Commissioner Adams Second. The minutes were approved as distributed.
Officer Voting: It was unanimously voted to leave commissioner officers as is. Officers are as follows: Randy Babb- Head Chairman, Steve Ford- Co-chairman, Chuck Adams- Secretary, Elton Chapman- Treasurer, Jimmy Riley- Grants
Chief's Notes: Chief Kincaid Discussed his notes at this time(see attached Chief's notes). Lt. Garrett was hired full time as a shift lead starting Feb. 06, 2022.
Treasure Report: Commissioner Chapman distributed treasure report. Everything looked to be in good shape. Commissioner Chapman will have papers from United Community Bank next month for the Commissioners to sign.
Executive Session: Chief Kincaid called for executive sessions at 6:44 PM for personnel reasons. Meeting was called to order at 6:53 PM.
Motion: After executive session discussion, Commissioner Chapman made a motion for the Fire Department to add the son of Matthew Garrett (Mattox) to his medical insurance. This is to be paid by the Department starting February 18, 2022. Commissioner Babb second. All agreed.
Adjourned: Commissioner Chapman made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:59 PM. Commissioner Babb second. All agreed.

January 2022

Minutes from January 2022 Meeting

Opening: After eating, the regular meeting of the ICVFD was called to order at 6:40 PM by Commissioner Randy Babb.
Attendance: Commissioners Randy Babb, Chuck Adams, Elton Chapman, and Jimmy Riley were present. Commissioner Ford was not present due to covid. Also attending were Chief Kincaid, Ass. Chief McCraw, firefighters Riley and Gumenyuk, and office manager Patti Babb.
Approval of Minutes: Commissioner Adams made a motion to accept the minutes for the month of December 2021. Commissioner Riley second. The minutes of the previous meeting was unanimously approved as distributed.
Treasure Report: Commissioner Chapman distributed the treasurer report. Everything looked to be in good shape.
Grants: No grants to apply for at this time.
Chief's notes: Chief Kincaid discussed his notes at this time(see attached chief's notes)
Executive session: Commissioner Chapman called for executive session at 06:59 PM to discuss financial issues. Commissioner Babb called meeting back to order at 07:30 PM.
Motions: none were made at this time
Adjourned: Commissioner Chapman made a motion to adjourn at 07:32PM. Commissioner Babb second. All agreed.
